Hello all - I am trying this out with Ashkii's help. It is fun to read everyone's postings. We are doing well. We had a great time with Grandma & Grandpa here. It was such a beautiful day at the beach. Soccer is going well, at least I think it is. Ashkii is a little frustrated with Trevor's lack of co

mpetitive spirit on the field. I am just glad he is having fun. What he lacks in soccer he makes up for in Candy Land- that is serious business! He absolutely LOVES preschool, which he is attending three days a week now. He is also learning sign language, so I am sure we will get a few laughs as he and James try to communicate. He is learning Spanish, too, which has been fun for Ashkii. We went on his field trip to Baskin Robbins (thank goodness for sorbet!), and we will go to the park and on a hayride with his school on F

riday. Savannah misses him when he is gone, but also enjoys playing with whatever she wants to without the constant instruction from her director-personality brother. She is speaking very well now, and Trevor helps her by telling her what to say to him all day long. Thankfully, she does hold her own with him. For the most part they play very well together, their favorite game being hide and seek. Savannah goes in a corner, counts to three, yells "Come!" and finds him. Trevor has master his two-wheel bike, but refuses to let Ashkii take the training wheels off even though they are bent up so far that he rarely uses them. Ashkii is busy with school, work, and trying to work out the logistics of our hectic life. I have been busy with callings, planning with neighbors for our neig

hborhood Halloween party, helping with scrapbooks for the preschool kids, and trying to fit some CPE in so I can keep my CPA license. The kids are very excited to see everyone in November, as are Ashkii and I. We have a lot going on with this really being our last few weeks in Pensacola (when we come back in Jan. we will pack up and move). I have mixed feelings and will miss so many wonderful friends, but I really look forward to having our own place and really living there for awhile. For FHE tonight we carved a pumpkin - Trev drew the face & Ashkii carved it. Isn't it lovely! See you all soon - Florida Mom
